Abstract:
The relevance of the topic is determined by the key challenges facing the domestic economy, including the need to increase labor productivity and overcome the shortage of qualified personnel. Rapid changes in technological processes and modernization of equipment increase the demand for specialists with not only narrow professional knowledge, but also the ability to master related professions. This makes professional mobility a critical factor in bridging the gap between the growing demands of the labor market and the level of professional training. One of the promising solutions to this problem is the training of multi-specialists with a wide range of professional skills and competencies. Responding to such demands from the manufacturing sector of the economy as staff shortages, reduced production downtime, increased productivity, and optimized personnel costs, which in turn increases the competitiveness of organizations in the modern market. This article is devoted to the study of the importance of training multi-specialists in the training centers of enterprises. The article systematizes the conceptual framework (multiprofessionalism, transprofessionalism, and polyprofessionalism), indepth analyzes the controversial aspects of the topic, including a critical analysis of risks (employee overload, organizational fairness), and pre-sents the first quantitative indicators of the effectiveness of multiqualification programs using the example of the UEC UEC-UMPO. Approaches to the organization of the educational process aimed at the formation of multidisciplinary competencies among employees are considered, as well as an analysis of their impact on the efficiency of production processes. The research examines ex-isting educational approaches and practices focused on the development of multidisciplinary skills. Based on the data ob- tained, methodological recommendations are proposed for the design of train-ing programs aimed at training specialists with a wide range of competencies. The results of the study confirm that the introduction of training programs for multi-specialists helps to increase the professional flexibility of employees, improve production performance and competitiveness of enterprises. The first quantitative data (2019–2024) indicate a positive trend, but also reveal the need for careful management of overload risks. This allows companies to effectively respond to techno-logical challenges and adapt to changing market conditions, minimizing risks and optimizing the use of human resources, provided a balanced approach.
