Crises related to educational and profession-related activities may arise in different years of study; however, a number of researchers in this direction believe that the first, third and fifth years are the most vulnerable. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the short-term program devised by the author for the psychological correction of the crisis state in students in connection with educational and profession-related activities. The following techniques were used in the study: "Questionnaire of the Meaning-Life Crisis" by V.V. Karpinsky, test "Meaning-Life Orientations" by D.A. Leontyev in adaptation by M.S. Yanitsky, A.V. Gray, "Scale of Academic Motivation" by T.O. Gordeeva, O.A. Sycheva, E.N. Osina, methodology "Diagnostics of the features of self-organization-39" A.D. Ishakova and "Self-Esteem Scale", M. Rosenberg. To determine the effectiveness of the short-term psychological correction program, a statistical processing method was chosen: Wilcoxon T-test, with a significance level of less than 0.05, and a median test. At the first stage of the study, students in crisis due to educational and profession-related activities (24 people) were identified. They took part in a shortterm psychological correction program based on the principles developed by domestic psychologists. After conducting the short-term program of psychological correction of the crisis state among students in connection with educational and profession-related activities, one can see a decrease in the severity of the crisis state, but there remains some instability of the value component. According to the results obtained, despite some aspects of the value-semantic sphere, which require more time to change, we can assert the effectiveness of the short-term program of psychological correction of the crisis state. The empirical data obtained are scientifically new, since the selected list of methods helps to assess the presence or absence of a crisis state among students in connection with educational and profession-related activities, and the author's short-term psychological correction program helps students in this state.
