В данном исследовании авторы рассматривают процесс институционализации аналитических центров в публичной политике Вьетнама. Начиная с 1986 года аналитические центры играли важную роль во время "рыночного перехода" СРВ. Именно в тот период были сформированы организационные особенности вьетнамских фабрик мысли, которые наблюдаются до сих пор: низкая политическая самостоятельность, присутствие идеологического нарратива в исследованиях, ориентированность на государство как на основного потребителя экспертного знания и, как следствие, ресурсная зависимость от него. Отметим, что данные особенности были также обнаружены во время нашего анализа десяти современных вьетнамских аналитических центров.
