On regulating the condition of the human body using compression hosiery
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Providing clothing with the functions of regulating the state of the human body was previously relevant only for space medicine. Currently, innovations tested in space are successfully applied in the range of clothing products for a wide consumer audience. There is a growing demand for clothing that tightens the soft tissues of the body. Such products are applicable for aesthetic body correction and therapeutic compression, for stimulating muscle contractions and regulating heat transfer in sportswear and orthopedic underwear. Sewing products with the function of monitoring the condition of the human body are becoming popular. “Smart textiles” contain conductive threads that can track physiological impulses and serve as a power source for gadgets. The article presents an overview of innovative technologies for designing medical and household sewing products in the field of monitoring stress conditions of the human body.

Keywords:
clothing, functionality, diagnostics, blood pressure, monitoring, compression.
