Статья представляет собой рецензию на работу Дэниэля С. Марки "Западный горизонт Китая. Пекин и новая геополитика Евразии". Автор предлагает пищу для размышлений относительно геополитических планов Китая в западной части евразийского Римленда (Южная Азия, Центральная Азия и Ближний Восток). В упомянутых регионах автор акцентирует внимание на отношения Китая с ключевыми для его интересов государствами, каждое из которых на сегодняшний момент достигло во взаимодействии с Пекином беспрецедентного уровня

The article reviews the book of Daniel S. Markey «China’s Western Horyzon. Beijin and the New Geopolitics of Eurasia». The author introduces the reader to the analysis, speculations and forecasts concerning China's geopolitical plans in the western part of the Eurasian Rimland, which includes South Asia, Central Asia and the Middle East. The author draws attention to the China's relations with the states which are significant for its interests and are currently experiencing an unprecedented level of interaction with Beijing.
